On the Museum of African Liberation groundbreaking ceremony
On December 3, Russian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Nikolai Krasilnikov attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Museum of African Liberation in Harare.
90 hectares territory is allocated for a museum, conference facilities and amusement park focused on the liberation struggle.
President of the Republic of Zimbabwe H.E. Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa and high-ranking officials addressed the ceremony and underlined the significant contribution of our country to the cause of African independence.
Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Service Hon. Monica Mutsvangwa and the Leader of the Museum project – Institute of African Knowledge (INSTAK) Chairperson Prof. Simbi Mubako – thanked the Russian Ambassador for handing over the copies of documents and photos from the Russian Foreign Policy Archive and expressed interest in expert support from the Central Armed Forces Museum of the Russian Federation.
