Russian obstetricians and gynecologists conducted training in Harare
On October 14-17, 2024 a delegation of Russian doctors from the “V.I.Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology” visited Zimbabwe.
Within the framework of the international project “Intervention to Reduce Maternal and Infant Mortality in CIS Countries, Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America” on protecting health of mothers, newborns and children below 5 years of age organized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, scientific and practical seminars and medical trainings were held for Zimbabwean doctors using simulation technologies.
The closing event with certificates awarding was attended by the Minister of Health and Child Care Hon. Douglas Mombeshora, who expressed appreciation to our doctors for sharing their best practices.
Russian specialists also conducted a lecture at the University of Zimbabwe.
